The AAII Sentiment Survey is a survey performed by the American Association of Individual Investors. This survey is conducted to respresent what investors think about the market for the next six months. An investor that is bullish, will primarily think that the market will head higher in the next six months. Interestingly enough, one of the highs of the bullish survey was in 2000 during the technology boom. This sentiment indicator reached 75% during that time frame.
