CogoChairman and Chief Executive Jeffrey Kang on Thursday offered to indirectly buy a bigger share of the company he founded, suggesting its current share price undervalues the semiconductor design provider. Shares surged 98% to $3.85 premarket.

Perfect Worldsfourth-quarter earnings more than doubled as the Chinese online-game developer reported higher licensing and online-gaming revenue, but margins weakened. Shares jumped 27% to $15.95 premarket.

Antherasaid it will cut about 45% of its headcount as the company looks to reallocate resources to other development programs after it halted a clinical study of its anti-inflammatory treatment. Shares slid as much as 3.9% to $3 premarket.

AK Steel Holding Corp.forecast a downbeat first-quarter loss, as shipment volume is expected to drop 7% sequentially, but the steelmaker said it sees improvement for its second quarter. Shares added 1.4% to $8.01 premarket.

Deer Consumer Products Inc.said its filing of its 2011 annual report will be delayed because the company needs additional time to assess the effectiveness of its disclosure controls and its internal control over financial reporting. Shares slipped 12% to $3.20 in premarket trading.
